A small demo of how modems sounded, generated with JavaScript and with a simple waterfall diagram running. The demo starts out with a North American dialtone at 350Hz + 440Hz. Then continues with DTMF dialling the number of the time announcement of Deutsche Telekom. The usual modem shenanigans are not implemented. Then some data is transmitted using an encoding that I do not remember where I got it from.
